Personal Wellness Benefits
- Balances electrolytes
Because of its amazing mineral content, sea salt is a great source of electrolytes like magnesium, calcium, potassium, and sodium. These electrolytes are vital for muscle, brain and heart health, because of its critical role in the nervous system.
- Prevents muscle cramps
When your electrolytes are low, you can experience muscle soreness, cramps, charley horse, and even restless leg syndrome. The lack of minerals keeps the muscles from relaxing and cause contractions that are out of your control.
- Improves digestion
Sea salt is necessary in the role of digestion and the making of hydrochloric acid, which is secreted in the stomach for the breakdown of food, preventing digestive issues like bloating, gas, heartburn, indigestion, and can eventually lead to chronic disease.
- Great for skin health
Because of its potent mineral content, sea salt has anti-inflammatory properties that are beneficial for skin health. There are many beauty products that use sea salt, because it has the power to detoxify the skin, while exfoliating, increasing circulation, and providing the skin with nutrients.

FAQs
- Why is sea salt better than regular table salt?
Sea salt is less processed, contains more nutrients and minerals, and has less sodium per teaspoon. Table salt is more processed and its minerals have been stripped away during the manufacturing process and result in having higher amounts of sodium per teaspoon, but this does not mean we should use more amounts of sea salt. Use sea salt in moderation to prevent excessive sodium consumption.
