Tablea is used for cooking, baking or making the traditional Filipino beverage (hot chocolate) usually served during rainy season, special occasions, or even for everyday use as an alternative to coffee.

It’s a good source of energy and iron. It’s packed with fiber, protein, and healthy fats. It helps in maintaining muscle nerve function, prevents anemia, and treats iron deficiency. 


How to use

To make hot chocolate, melt 1 tablet with 4 cups of water or non-dairy milk in a pot. This also makes for a great dip for churros or pandesal (bread), and also used as a base for champorado (chocolate rice porridge).
