Benefits

This reusable food wrap is perfect for keeping sandwiches and food fresh, without using plastic, foil, or paper! These wrap can be used for covering food, bowls, cups and jars,- and it’ll biodegrade when you’re done with it. It’s water-resistant, meaning it’ll keep food inside fresh whilst keeping the elements out. However, it can also be used for other things aside from food. You may use it to wrap your soap or shampoo bars when you travel. It will keep moisture in. So no more bulky soap container in your bag!

How to use

With the warmth of your hands wrap the beeswax wrap around a piece of food or over a bowl or dish. Once it cools, it will hold and seal. Weap cheese, vegetables, bread, fruit, fresh herbs and baked goods. Do not use with raw meat.

Material

Organic cotton, beeswax, organic jojoba oil, and tree resin.

Care

Run it in cool water only. Hot water will melt the wax. If you need to wash with soap, keep it a minimum. Liquid castile is recommended and if you don’t have it, its totally fine. Just use the mildest soap you have and rub it gently. Then hang dry.

As the wrap ages, they’ll develop characteristic folds and cracks. This gives it a vintage look, but if you don’t like it, simply iron the wrap between two pieces of greaseproof paper and it’ll look like new again! You might need to redistribute wax when they arrive. If you do, simply iron as above. Also, don’t throw the used greaseproof paper away. You can use it as firestarter when camping or simply use it again when you want to rewax.

NOTE:

Beeswax has a distinct scent. This scent will fade shortly after the initial usage. The scent of beeswax reflects the aroma of the flowers from which the bees collect the pollen.
